"A Promise of Love"
  by Blackdymend

Honestly, the first time we met
I didn’t know what to expect
Sure your looks and charm caught my eye, but were you like the rest?
No love at first site but I think we both knew
Knew that there was something there for us two
In less than a month, you gave me so much to look forward to
Something deeper than puppy love, something I could feel
Consuming my thoughts and creating a love so real
I was afraid at first holding my heart close
But realizing I need to let my feelings be exposed
So I guess here it goes……
Hours spent with you feel like mere minutes
And when we’re apart I really miss you, get it?
Love is like an asylum and I’m finally committed
I know we have our ups and downs but every relationship does
It won’t always be beautiful words, kisses and hugs
But loneliness was part of a person that was
Not this person I am today who is ready to love
Even when bad times arise way above
Or when those “who’s that, what’s this?” come about
Jealousy won’t tear us up, we’ll work it out
My heart is yours so darling have no doubts
You and I will go through rough stormy weather
But I know we’ll make it through together
We have the ability to find a true love in each other
Just as Long as our love remains a must
I will be the one in whom you can entrust
And as long as we believe in us, no one can break us down
So even when I’m not there, my love will always be around
For you, I assure to refrain from all childish games
To try my hardest to ease your spirit from pain
And despite your imperfections, learn to love Main
I pray that this feeling never fades away
No matter how hard it gets, no matter what they say
You’re the one who I care for, my man, my ay bay bay….(lol)
I stand firm by your side when guys try, I just have to decline
They don’t understand our hearts are now intertwined
And I rather live in your world then without you in mine
Besides there’s just simply no other
No dude who can compare to my lover
And maybe one day, I’ll introduce you to my mother
Until then just the thought of you in my life fills me up inside
For that I promise to be your ride or die
And do my best to keep you satisfied

*******~~~~~Dedicated to my one and onli on his bday~~~~*******
