I created GS Poetry (previously named GhettoSoul) in the Summer of 2000.  I was fresh out of a break up with my ex-girlfriend. I was mad and hurt. I wrote a poem expressing my pain and it made me feel better. I wanted others to read it, so I designed a site and posted it on the web.

Soon, people started emailing me asking for their poetry to be on the site. As the poems came, I kept redesigning the site to make it look better. Today, GS Poetry is the most dedicated, active social networking poetry community on the internet. The site is in its 6th and best redesign yet. Currently, there are 327,024 poems showcasing people's pain, experiences, talent and emotions.

I joined AC in the Spring of 2006, and soon after, we started to roll out features that completely changed GS for the better.

I program the features and functionality to enhance the user experience. With AC's design on the frontend and my programming in the backend, we create and deliver the best possible web site for poets to enjoy.
