GS Poetry - The Ultimate Poetry and Writing Community

GS Poetry is a poetry-social networking community where poets and poetry fans can read, submit and perform poetry. We have 20 categories to choose from to submit poems, upload audio recordings and create collaborative works. Registered members can submit, rate, comment and rank poems. Poetry Submission Submit poems and keep track of vital information such as date and time submitted, comments, ratings and number of views. Freely publish your writings here and express yourself.	Poem Showcase The Poem Showcase is a where poets can showcase their poems by using GS Credits. The showcase gives all poets an equal chance to display poems of their choice.
Soulcasts This allows poets to publish/upload an audio recording of their poem. Don’t just read poems, listen to them!	Your Favorites You can add poems and poets to your favorites list. Poets can also see which poems and poets other poets favored.
Featured Poet Every day a new poet is chosen as “Featured Poet.” We want to make sure that every poet gets at least one day to shine and be recognized for his/her poems. The poet is featured on the home page.	GS Credits GS Credits are collected and used for showcasing poems. Poets can collect GS credits by reading and commenting on poems. There are multiple ways of collecting credits, such as purchasing them in 150 increments.
Collaboetry Create collaborative works with other poets! This builds friendships and brings together individual poetic styles. This creates some of the hottest, original poetry on the web!	20 Poetry Categories Our categories include Love, Emotions, Hate, Life, Positive, Family, Spoken Word, Erotic, Haiku, Humor, Spiritual, Mourning, Inspirational, Politics, Sonnet, War, Acrostic, Metaphysical, Philisophical and Foreign Language.
* GS Gold (paid service) GS Gold is a premium service that is designed to give poets more unique options to block out all outside interference and concentrate on writing poetry.	Subscriptions Subscribe and get private alerts when your favorite poets release a new writing. Poets can also see who subscribed to them.
Rate Poems Rate poems based on a 10-star system.	Private Messages Send private messages to any poet at any time.
Poet Comments Submit and read comments from poets. Each comment is stamped with a date and time.	Poem Response Instead on leaving a comment on someone's poem, write a poem as a response to another a poem.
Blog Post anything you want in your blog and share it with the entire community.	Photo Album Upload photos to your album. The option to add captions is also available.
myINBOX Keeps track of all private messages. It also tracks all poet, poem, Soulcast, photo, and blog comments. It archives undeleted conversations with poets and manages Collaboetry invites.	Groups Groups brings together friends, family, classmates, and other members with similar interests. Poets can create their own groups and start their own circle or mini-movement.
Chat (BETA) Chat with other poets in the GS Chat Room.	Block User Poets can block other poets if they choose.
G-Soul Café (Forum) The forum gives poets an arena to post discussions and conversations for the entire community to read, respond and share.	Search Use the search page to find out who’s online, newest members, most popular members, past featured members, and more.
Report Abuse Alert Team GS of abuse from other poets or abuse of the website.	Event Room Lists local and regional events in poetry and music.
RSS Feeds Receive poems from the site without coming to the site. Visit http://www.gspoetry.com/rss.php for more information.	Media Room View poetry related videos, including poetic street performances, and view the Soulcast playlist.
Biter Central Those who “bite”, or plagiarize, will be put in GS Poetry’s Hall of Shame. We have a group of members responsible for making sure the poems on the site are original and not copied.
