"After Taste"
  by A~BENEVOLENT~QUEEN

In the car, on the way home after
A fun filled sensual night of dinner, a movie, and much laughter
I suddenly find myself, already missing you…

I dare to close my eyes
As I speed at 85 miles an hour north down 75
Rushing to get home, cuz honestly all I want to do
Is sleep, and since I’m being honest, I want to hurry so I can begin to dream about you
I dare to daydream and replay in my mind the time that we just shared
Amazing how fleeting time is when its time being spent with someone who truly cares
And that mental replay wouldn’t be smart right now of you and I
Afraid it would create the same damage as driving duyi (driving under your influence)
I let down the driver’s side window cuz with each mile I’m growing sleepy
The night air slaps me in the face and I begin to inhale and exhale more deeply
With each breathe now I take in a faint aroma of your waterfall of past excitement
Of the passionate night spent
Rushing
Opening
The welcomed intrusion of you flooding the gates of my taste buds
I hungrily remember your signature taste of Chocolate Lady Godiva milk duds
The kind of pleasure that’s sinful, a heavenly taste
Residing in that special place, below your waist

I smell my lips
I lick my lips
I suck my lips
Remembering the slow circular tantric motion of your hips
Lawd have mercy!

Savoring a flavor of sugar cane with a bitter hint of a funky twang
My day dreaming comes to an end as my cell sings
The Dreams…I love how she rocking that thang
Excitement grabs a hold of me as my favorite picture of you pops up on the I-phone
I realize that the feelings that I have are mutual and I’m not alone
3 rings and I answer…Hello
She whispers...I miss you boo
I happily respond that I miss her too
Are you home yet? She replies
No I’m halfway there between 75 & 285
Silence now speaks across the airways
And out of no where she begins to say…
Baby come back, I don’t want to sleep alone, please turn around
The request is granted with the screech of my wheels as I exit and spin around
Foot heavy on the gas now with no time to waste
As I travel back to replace her after taste
With the beautiful fullness of her presence
