Blind Love
(The Sight of Affection Still Remains)
They say love is blind
but it sees more optimism
in heartache than visionaries
so don’t give it sight
let it find you
‘cause everyday is forever night
and all it can do is stumble across you
so open your arms and let it fall
into forgetfulness
forgiving that it can’t see what you’ve been
through
and you don’t want to hear what it’s
gone through so together you two
just gotta make sense and dismiss the fact
that you lack completeness without the other,
just live in its moment
be blind for a reason
understand that it sees you
without seein’ your flaws
know what it’s like to be viewed in
introspect
pause… dwell in its retrospect
for a moment
so you’ll know that you’re worth being loved
and need such respect, regardless
you’re not society just a product within
so don’t worry about what others
view you as or in
let its blind matters
matter most when it witnesses you
for who you are
let love find you
let there be an instant connection
like four
but with two eyes that sees
the same potential in the other
like four
but with two hearts that beat
together as one
like four
but with two souls that continually
grow forever
like four
but with two bodies that
function on one accord
you have to
let it find you
drape all things in your life that
may cause pain and strife
and learn to reach out to the
disabled notion that it isn’t what it seems
it’s what you make it out to be
so see it as you’d want it to see you
all of normal
‘cause the only color it can verify you by
is through the loudness of your words
and the darkness of your actions
so spare it
beautifully, within spectrums of your affection
like dies on tables
it's a chemistry so treat it carefully
somehow just
let love find you
let the presence of its absented vision
see you for once,
'cause everyday is forever night
and all it can do is stumble across you
so open your arms and let it fall
willingly
just be there, like a good Samaritan
catchin’ it’s promises hopefully
and just maybe
one day
you’ll start to understand the pain it feels
not “seein’” or knowing who it has to
put its trust into,
so why not you
give it a chance
un-sighted and all
it is after all
love, so
let it find you
because who knows...
one day this might be YOU,
blind and in love!
