"Brazen Nights"
  by H.H. Holloway

I catch inert messages
crawling themselves across
quiet skies where lovers' poems
hide themselves within the sheets of darkness
residing in each page of passion
and then I remember you
glowing as moonstruck fire
cradling in the embrace of my wish
I shed doubt and pull you closer
boundaries crossed
lost in language translated
your touch, an honest flame that warms
for what is our love if life is nothing but a tease
perhaps I explained that backwards
as in the clear invitation you have me climb you
worthy whispers, shivering echoes
quivered down to the last whimper that finds us both
illuminated in the iota of intimacy
binding, grinding, and unwinding
reminding myself that while my candle
still burns for you, inside of you
our silhouette flickers as the darkness fades
and the morning wades
finding us, wrapped in the jazz of our jovial slumber
with hints of thunder, the night before

This is romantic filled, but has a tone of sadness, just as reality often is. {glowing as moonstruck fire}

MIND BLOWING! The visual verbiage...metaphors...I aspire to get to this level of expression.
