"Broken Silence"
A Buffy and T.R.I.G.G.U.S. Collaboration

  T.R.I.G.G.U.S.:

Everyday stopping by
Noticing you each time
But like the speech of a mime I never say hi
Playing it cool
Or atleast I try
But I can't help but spy out the side of the eye
Your presence
Catching a wiff of your essence as a woman
From behind the counter
Taking the order of a guy who is most likely thinking
"Damn I'm trying pound her"
You and the other waitress
But I found her empty to what I see in you that they may miss
Quality
Elegance
Admiration of your free spirited personality
Have my feelings bursting out of me
Though no words from me have been spoken
And silence from you has yet to be broken
As a token of my affection
I look to your direction
And lock eye contact

  Buffy:

Everyday at at six o'clock
I notice that he comes through
Just to order a small coffee , sometimes our special stew
He makes smile , I don't know why
He's never spoken a word to me
Makes me forget about my troubles...
at least temporarily...while he's there
It's an aura that he carries that's so strong
It makes smile from ear to ear and wanna hum a little song
But I don't know him , only see him every day around this time
I try to find him in the crowd...oh my God he caught my eye

  T.R.I.G.G.U.S.:

Now looking down at my coffee
Damn
I think she caught me
I guess this taught me a lesson
But as my sips lessen
My cup starting to run empty
I can't help but peek back up
So beautiful
So mutual I hope she would feel
Towards these emotions I try to conceal
As each morning is the same ordeal for she brightens my day
And heightens the way my spirt lifts
Amazing how words have still yet to have left the lips
Now time to dip as I take that last sip

  Buffy:

Uncomfortable as it was to catch him catch me...
The thought of it was thrilling ...exciting to me.
I felt my own story begin to pour out
about love in a coffee shop...speechless no doubt
but my smile that began was stopped in it's tracks when
he picked up his coat and put on his hat...
Time to go...
I just stood with a notepad in hand
"TAKE A DAMN ORDER" a pen was pushed to my hand ..it was my manager trippin...
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GIRL???FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS YOU'VE BEEN IN YOUR OWN WORLD!"
He was right but alone in that world I was not
I also had my secret love standing in that coffee shop

  T.R.I.G.G.U.S.:

As I walk out the door
Passing her by listening to her manager's banter
I look back wondering
If I ask if she's ok will she answer?
Or take a gander at my request
To take her out on a wonderful night and no less
But I've walked outside and it's too late
Until that night I get a surprise around a quater pass 8
What can only be seen as a destiny defined date
To create such an opportunity as I stood outside the movie
Something would move me from laughing and tripping with one of my boys
I see her
And then I shut out all noise
I lock eyes once more
My eyes spell out "be with me"
Her eyes read "comfort me"
So I walk up with a smile
Break my silence and ask
"Would you like some company?"

  Buffy:

This was crazy that I ran into my love once again
at the movies..."what a day" I looked confused then I began
to cover up what was first said but with a stutter..."Uh"..and then
He took my my hand " so it's a yes" I nodded quickly
" It's a yes " I was embarrassed ...just for seconds
cuase the feeling of his presence was relaxing , I felt better
We were finally together...yes I understand relationship slipped not from him or me
But it's almost like he read me when I screamed out comfort me with my eyes...
What a surprise a prayer answered I was pleased
That I was faced with his smile and no longer only teased
