The benevolent angels cease to sing
Silenced by the plight of a majestic queen
Love lured her into a seemingly inevitable fate
Forced to bare the heaviness of sadness's weight

Dreariness hovers around her genuine heart
Leaving me wanting to prevent her from falling apart
Desperately attempting to banish that burdensome lament
My compassion will chisels away depression's relent

I long to return tranquil to the realm known as her mind
By demolishing the shackles that tightly bind
Her fragile emotions are shielded my regard
The goddess is far more precious than a diamond shard

These broken wings I shall happily mend
Never again will this beautiful dove descend
While in my care, tears will not fall from her eyes
Giving her license to roam freely throughout the skies
