"By Sunrise"
  by Cam Saint

Every you word you ever spoke
Can’t you see I’m starting to choke?
I can’t breathe when you’re nearby
Tilting my head back and looking up
Or staring down at the gray concrete
It was never that shade until you came around
You suck the life out of everything
You bring down everyone around you
Yet with no right you change the thoughts of others
Don’t let me forget this
Remind me to take off this ring
Before the sun comes up my side of the bed will be empty
Before the sun comes up you’d better be out of here
And don’t forget your bags next to the door
I’ll have them packed before you even have a chance to do your hair
One last thing, take that smell of you as well
Your fragrance that said, “I love you”
But turned its back on everything we ever were
I’m everything you never were
