"Cause He Said , He Would"
  by Syndel

No matter how much I think I can do I cant do it alone
No matter how many say they love me the journey is mine to own

Its starts when I awake throw my legs over side of bed and exhale the word damn

Then he says you cant but I can
Cause he said he would

When I dress and think my day is void
He said I awoke you go out show your fathers joy

When I go about my day saying why me
He says why not you
It wont be over til I say we are threw

When I walk the shadow of darkness is my closet companion
He says I am more than man
Before your life created I had a plan

Said I will be there when the questions arise
I will be there when they call for your demise

Said I would be there your front and back
I would be there when thy friend and enemy attack

Said he would be in the mist of my pain
Restore me ,sprinkle heavens precious rain
Wash me, cleans me in the end riches I would gain

Said forgiveness is yours to claim
But accept some of the forgiveness do not blame
Cause he said he would

When I scream fix it
He says he is the carpenter of my soul
I am his unique design
He got this but , in his time

When I say I cant hold on the rope is thin
He makes a knot , says now begin again

cause he said I’m better than sex
I’ll never leave you become an ex

Cause he said , I’m better than the cruelest joke
Sniff my name inhale my smoke, I am better than ice cream
Bigger than coke

Cause he said he would , cause he said he can
Cause he holds me in his right hand

Said he is bigger than any bill , what he has cant be found in a pill
Said I am confirmation not a risk think of me before slitting your wrist

All I ask of you is trust , obey
I will make it better just continue to pray
Tell him to take it , make a better way
Cause he said he wouldn’t lie
Remember for you he died

Cause he said he would
All I have to do is trust and believe
Have faith the size of a mustard seed

Cause he said he would it will be done
Thank you Jesus, Thank you Lord
