I’ve said a lot of thing that I shouldn’t
Done a lot of things others wouldn’t
That’s because they wish to stay in their comfort zone
As for me, I couldn’t
I’ll step outside myself
To guide myself to the wealth I deserve
To hit any curve pitched and serve it back
But to not swing at the pitch
Hell, the nerve of that
So observe this fact
That just getting by
And trying to settle
Is like running a race hoping to receive only a bronze medal
Weighing pros and cons that’ll distort your own
I mean convert your throne
Back to the humble comfort zone

Just watch as my determination
To escape this abomination that is the comfort zone
Creates my own metamorphosis
To give me the strength and brain capacity of Morpheus
Because life is so short we miss the opportunities to see clear and excel
To fully extend like a magnum XL
The chance to propel our well being to a grander scale
All because there is a hint of doubt we’ll fail
So we’ll go to our fail safe plan that lies in the comfort zone
It tells us to sit quietly and not rock the boat
And look for luck from a four leaf clover
But hell, I’ll stand up and tip that shit over
And that’s just to see what will happen

And I’m not spitting ether
I’m just spitting either this way or that way
So no matter which direction you turn
You’ll catch the bulk of my metaphorical liquid spray
So you’ll know that on this day that it’s ok to try
It’s ok to make yourself uncomfortable
To crack your knuckles, stretch and reach
Allow me to teach
That how will you know what awaits you passed the ocean
If you never leave your sandy beach?
And I know to each his own
But there is still no need for the comfort zone
This is why I avoid it at all costs
Even when all’s lost
I’ll still go all out the ordinary
Just to become extraordinary
Even if it’s attention I’ll be losing or taking
Even if it will be rules or laws I’m breaking
Because I’m still a legend in the making
It’s been shown by everything blessed to me
...it is my destiny

So fuck a comfort zone, I’m on the move
