DAWN TO DUSK
By: D. A. Tanksley
I wanted to be lyrical//
So I look in the Bible//
For our grandmother//
And your mother//
In the Bible I looked up the word “DEATH”, what I found in the word of God that death is death to a nonbeliever//
But it’s life living to a Christ follower//
Her body may be buried, but her soul last forever//
From dawn we are destined//
To see what life is best in//
Once we start there’s no end//
On earth we may end, but in heaven you’ll live eternity//
What I’ve learned about God I believe//
Sometimes when I close my eyes I see Jesus//
I know He’s the best in all of us//
You should feel connected when you read the versus//
In John 16:28 it talks about how you came forth from the Father, and am come in to the world: again, you’ll leave the world and go to the Father//
Things will get better//
In John 5:24 it says, Verily, verily I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life , and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life//
In John 14:12 says, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do; because I do unto my Father//
He will show you who is the provider//
In 1 Corinthians 15:10 says, But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me//
So He took our grandmother, your mother as she was and the grace of God added peace//
To keep peace with her rest//
In Revelation 21:4 its says, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away//
Our grandmother your mother went to a much better place//
A place you don’t have to worry about space//
There’s a beginning and an end but what I believe there’s no end just another life we live//
It’s like a cycle the sun comes up and it goes down//
When it’s dusk it’s not dark but there’s always a light to take away the darkness//
The moon and stars are bright//
Can always lighten up day or night//
Your mother our grandmother is part of us//
She’ll be part of us when we enter the future//
When you walk in the breezy wind//
(Remember her)
When you feel the rain//
(Remember her)
When you see fall come around remember the flavorish color of her//
When you see pictures of her remember she’s in beautiful paradise//
