Since as long as I can remember,
I was a dreamer,
Living in my own little dream world.
I could sit there all day and lay,
Wasting my time away.
All our childhood fantasies,
Move on before we're done
Turning to face away from us
Shattering our hopes like a gun
Revealing things that I now must learn.
Shadows cast a gloomy light.
Of an eternity with endless night.
Following the waves of tide.
Tinkerbelle and Peter Pan,
Spinning through the air
Looping, soaring, and diving
Living without a care
I remember wicked creatures
And all their solemn features
And their presence scares me yet
As I escaped into the dream world I know so well,
I sleep in the clouds, dream in the sky,
I'll keep dreaming as life passes me by,
The warmth in our hearts that only a poet would understand.
Finding an oasis in the never, never land.
As years pass like minutes,
making us take our careful steps,
emotions burn like sun fire within us,
having the most sacred possessions we kept.
So welcome to my Dream World of porcelain faces
In the depth of all my twisted truths
Yes I've been to all those places
Sleep tight is a forbidden fruit
Bow down and stare in wonder
Listen to all those screams
They will drown in lies of thunder
I am the Master of Dreams...
