Well do more than just write
I want to scribe my thoughts into you
Dig deep into these sheets
with my pen
and carve meaning for you
I want to engrave peace
into this loose leaf
and maybe even read it to you
Inscribe my soul
into each and every one of these lines
So that no rhyme would get left behind
but would forever stain your mind
I want to make beats
that would make your heart beat too
I would etch-a-sketch my feelings for you
And taper my life on flipped pages
just to find something to do
I want to put pen to paper
and personally compose my terms for you
I want my words to make love to your curves
Before any ecstasy
I want to enter into you intimately
And please you with my poetry
I want you to do more than just listen
I want my words to hit you physically
And cut deep down into mentally
Let me
emotionally heal your emotions with some calligraphy
I want to plant my inscription with precision
Dedicated to you
because you’re my poetry’s prescription
So take this remedy
And instill it in your mind
Let my script wrap around your waist
fall to your knees and
bury it at your roots
Take notes
And let my ink embrace your lips
like a poetic kiss
I want to infuse my words, my thoughts, my soul
