Failing hearts tread rains fall
As pervasive eyes hear feet trip through solid air waves
Of transferred thought leaving bodies vacant
Soulless vessels walking upside down
Trying to breath through feet’s soles
Wondering why hands blister and split
Fingers cramping as lightheaded visions
Reveal grounded hopes searching eyes want to be more yet less
Less of your misplaced intent forcing me to
Redirect these affront words dragging
Tongues across rough hearts that sat on the tip of my lashes
Fighting the monsoon that hovers below my head
Wishing for a rising tide that cover ears
So eyes can’t see the sound of these disapproving stares
As I perusal into my eyes third eye looking at you be me be you
While we pretend to be someone else
It’s unequivocally time to find myself
Hidden in these crepuscular skies
