When you close your eyes at night
don't they open at sunlight?
When you were hungry?
did I give you something to eat ?
When your heart was sad and heavy
I touched it and made it light.
When you had no shoes
I covered your feet.
When the day is hot
and the routine is getting old
the sudden chill you feel
it is I touching your soul.
When you think that you are alone
and you have no one to turn to
I am there, but why is this the only time
I hear from you?
when you are hungry or sad or if your body aches
You need to remember I am there
JUST HAVE FAITH.
