ego is the undoing
of a man's soul

selfishness
& pride is damnation

equates
to an apathetic soul

laced w/ poisonous darts,
flung @ high velocity

erodes the
soul of your partner

as she's
de-merging from we

ceremoniously
returning your rib, flesh

undoing we
consciously sacrificing, i

ego, pride
selfishness, a man's undoing

I agree...not just man but for a woman too...ego,pride all tend to be the downfall of people. Well written. I really like this...much wisdom contained in this. I might need to look into this poet.
