GS Gold is a premium service that is designed to give poets more unique options to block out all outside interference and concentrate on writing poetry.

GS is a free site. All of its essential daily features are provided for free. However, GS Gold service puts a unique aspect to the website. It allows a poet to become "unpopular" and gives the poet the power to concentrate on poetry and have access to many exclusive features and options. This ability requires a lot of server and hosting resources, so the fee serves two purposes:

(1) SERVER UPGRADE: The ability to customize your profile will slow down the site. We will need to upgrade to better, faster servers in order to keep you, the poet, happy.

(2) DONATION: Currently, AC and Mattdog financially support and maintain the operation of the site. This fee will also be considered as a donation to GS to help us keep it operational at its highest level.

Go to the main GS Gold page and choose a subscription, either monthly or yearly. Once you've paid, you will be directed to a page that contains further instructions.

GS Gold allows you to fully customize your profile to keep you “unpopular” and focus on writing poetry. GS Gold premium features and options are of the following:

• You can hide yourself from being on the "ONLINE NOW" list
• You can prevent yourself from being on the top poet list
• You can approve soulcast, blog, and photo comments before they appear on your page
• Receive Private Messages only from administrators, poem notifications, and your favorite poets
• Enable/disable rating and commenting for every poem you submit (If you enable commenting for the poem, you can enable approval process on poem comments as well)
• No advertisements on your profile
• Ability to change your nickname whenever you want
• Rich Text Editor for all poems, private messages, and group postings

To cancel your subscription, go to your profile and go to EDIT PROFILE. Then click the "Cancel Subscription" button.

We will be adding additional, free features to make GS better, but we will also be adding more GS Gold features to give an added benefit to those in the GS Gold Zone.
