"fighting for me"
  by harley quinn/a fallen angel

taken into the darkness
without a choice
learning to survive
abiding my time

marked internally
by the beast
branded as a child
losing the innocents
that should have been mine

hatred builds
free will wills the strength
that still belongs to me
the capability to change
my own destiny

becoming my own redeemer
as i fight for my own salvation
seeking my own redemption
from my inner hell
from which i dwell

as i fight to save
the pieces of the girl
that i have inside of me
praying i can
before they flee
