"First Meeting"
  by jargon

Purple,
I distinctively remember her wearing purple
Wrapped in purple tight
satiating her appetite
her plate and weight were alike
they were light
this was an opportunity taken
shaking,
I definitely remember I was shaking
plagued by shaking constantly
creating a plan of action
her beauty intimidated me
causing slight hesitation
I wanted her to hear honesty
cultivating a future connection
I wanted her to see my sincerity vividly
calming my tension
she entered into conversation willingly
YES,
I do remember saying YES!
My soul shouted yes at the top of its lungs
excitement did not have to find me
I was looking
after the celestial being came wingless down to chat
visions piled my future eyes
they sighted a friendship.......

WOW! I love this. . . the alliteration of the lines, I bet this poem goes over very well at spoken word venues. . . .this line is a killer: "excitement did not have to find me/I was looking/after the celestial being came wingless down to chat" something about the way you said that was sick to me, VERY NICE 10 stars
