"Friends Only"
  by Sexxy Scorp

Who would've thought that holdin hands
A simple kiss on the cheek
Would lead to a Friends Only zone
Late night talks on the phone
A text every blue moon, or when you're lonely
A "Thank you for being a friend"
A "I only work on weekends"
A call just to check on you
A friend, but so distant
When actions speaks louder than words
When the actions you portray starts to hurt
And one becomes emotionally torn
The pain adds to every other scorn
The wishings that we never met
These feelings when I'm with you I don't regret
Fantasies of oneday being wanted
Once you can surpass the Friends Only warning
I overlooked the sign that said Friends Only
Just to find that you weren't the one for me
