GANG WAR – STREET VISION
1"I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me;
I was found by those who did not seek me.
To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, 'Here am I, here am I.
-ISAIAH 65:1
Me and my gang was alone in the rain storm with army fatigue jeans on//
Combat boots and wife beater on//
Early in the morn with knives, chains, metal bars, a battle bout to be form//
Ready for flesh to be torn//
We see our enemies running up the street with black jeans, black trees on// (Timberland)
And white T’s on with spike bats, knives, and chains it’s about to be on//
We running towards them with no fear, we don’t care//
Screaming and hollering wit our weapons raised up in the air//
Our enemies and our gangs crashed together like car collision//
Listen I spit in my enemy face and blurred his vision//
I hit’em in the jaw so hard he dropped in submission//
I kick’em unconscious and started stomping his jaw till his whole teeth was missin// (not kiddin)
And then I heard screams from my homie and my other enemy laughing and grinning//
Cause he driven a knife through my homie chest and then was smitten//
But my other homie was stabbing the killer till he was no longer livin//
Then I was stabbed in the arm, and heard my flesh rippin, blood drippin, my anger rising and I started flippin//
Then I dropped my enemy on the ground where my homie was smitten//
And I slit his throat so he’s no longer livin//
Man it’s still raining, lightning flashin above me, this whole war is ugly//
Because everything around me is bruised, scarred and bloody//
Then I heard sirens went off, everybody pause, dropped their jaws//
And scattered through the street halls//
I ain’t tryin to get caught now so I’m runnin like Randy Moss//
Hearin gunshots bein tossed, love breakin the laws//
I’m smiling in the inside like I was an actor on stage receiving a thunderous applause//
I saw drawings on the walls of a man carrying a cross//
The rain suddenly stop, then I felt a tear drop on my cheek and I cough//
I’m runnin in the middle of nowhere, don’t see my gang nowhere and now I’m lost// (Now I’m lost)
I ran tiredly in the dark park and hid behind the tree ready to feed my soul with weed while my wounded arm still bleeds//
But I was too busy gaspin for air tryin to breathe//
Hopin the cops won’t see me and my gangs won’t leave me//
As I began to rest my chin on my chest, I felt drugged//
I felt something drippin on my head and it was showers of blood//
I heard voices from above//
So I quickly got up to see who it was//
And I saw a man hung on the tree high and above//
He said, “Wisdom I LOVE YOU, I wouldn’t lie to you//
I shed my blood and died for you so I can give life to you//
Accept my offer, repent of your sins and forgive//
I cried out, “The streetz is how I lived cause I was rejected since I was a kid so I can’t forgive!!”//
And the man said, “I was picked on, stripped naked and whipped on, ripped on, kicked on and spit on//
So you can forgive cause my love and blood was already dripped on//
I shouted, “I forgive and accept, I forgive and accept”//
And the man said, “Listen, you’re now a Christian, free from your Street Prison//
So now your mission is to preach in the street and tell them your Street Vision//
