over-sexed,
over-medicated,
under-paid,
and under-educated,
these are life's realities for generation y,
better known as the 80's babies born in the U.S. of...I...
if you were wondering, that's the United States of Idiocy--
don't get it twisted I love my country but see,
it's as though they don't realize,
that we have been desensitized...
not just to sex, money, and drugs,
but to the realization
that the youths of our nation
may never attain "true happiness" or "real love"
or ever learn the lesson,
that mental progression,
will make you far wealthier than material possessions.
is it the fault of my generation
that the rest of the nation
has failed to come to the realization
that the abundant manifestation
of our "mis-education",
is a direct result of parental deprivation
and the media's over-manipulation?
I think we need a revelation...
Your words ma, provative it its crazy, how you sum the times up so lyrically. I fed off this cause this how many our live real talk, you dropped major bombs on em. It's crazy because even though its a sad fact, it was so refreshing how you give it to us. Atomic ma. !!! A definite fav.
Many in this world have a lot to learn and others just don't listen.... there is no such thing as a better nation because people don't believe in working together........... this right here is a wonderful piece it says a lot in a little bit of wolrds.... am feelin this
This feels VERY familiar. Are you a def poet or something? One thing I AM sure of is whether I've heard this before or not, it's too real. I LOVED it, and again, your thought process is PHENOMENAL! Thanks for sharing. :)
