""Give Me A Chance""
A C.L. and Donta' Collaboration

  Donta':

Give me a chance to show you I should be your man
You gave him a praise and he treated you like a fan
A beautiful mind left in a daze; you sit at home feeling shame
Give me a chance to mend your pain
He was insane to throw you away
But another man's trash is another man's treasure and in my eyes your worth more than any price I could pay
A block of ice sits where your heart use to lay
Let me take this tart feeling away
Give me a chance to become one w ith you and your offspring
Her dad hasn't done his job so let me take his place and give her things
Provide her with the love of a dad and you the love of a man!
YOur excuse that no man wants a girl with a child is nonsense, let me decide for myself if I want to take that chance
Give me a chance to make our relationship grow
I want to know what makes you flip
WE'll take our time and od things right
Show the world how we take to flight
They'll be days when we'll fuss and fight
And have problems as cold as a winter night
But through our bad times we will overcome and turn our dark into light
Give me a chance to show you real love
I promise that you'll never have to shove anyone to the side anymore
Hold your body in my arms while we watch the tide
With me the only rule you would have to abide by is to satnd by me through my hard times
And I"ll do my all to protect you from all crimes
All I want is to give love like a dove
Cuddle and drink hot chocolate while thhe snow falls to the ground
Your heart sings for comfort and hear its sound
I"ll tend to its pound and reply to its ring
It's time for a new start; Give me that chance to set your differences apart and I"ll give you the chance to rely on the trust of my heart!

  C.L.:

Yo bro i feel your pain
and this is a scar that passes me
and leaves my name in vein
grace one like your their biggest fan
treating them like roylaty wit da diamonds and gold
and the rich ness of your heart
with every pump of your blood your hearts beats for them
and all your asking is " Give me a chance"
proving my self worthy of once being your king
wanting to know the things that makes
her mind tick
let her know that at any point when she
needs someone that your shoulder is there for the leanin
havin yall heart and soul grow past the clouds and blue skies
all you want is that chance
to show her the everyday that she is a prize you've just one
for the very first time...
thats what real men want... that one chance to prove them-
self worthy of being your man giving females that real love
no materialistic thing like a priced out ring
because i also want this female to give me a chance
because her heart is my ring
