"GONE"
  by Unspoken Word

You took my heart, my soul, my reason to live

How could you, why did you, my one and only

Everyday you do this to the good and the evil

No exception, no getting away from you, no cheating you

All the praying everyday won't do good

When the time comes you show no mercy

You don't care if I think it's time or not

You pursue your duty in a blink of an eye

Definite, no way out, no tomorrow, next week, next month, next year

You took a part of me I kept in my heart trying to hide it from you

I guess you can't cheat death in the end !

The melancholic aura that surrounds this piece is so thick that it hangs over the head like an ominous cloud. You captured the uncertainty and unpredictability of death and communicated it in a fashion that one could not help but grasp. Good Write... keep it up.
