There comes a time in your life,
When you need to back off,
Calm yourself down,
And go back more soft.

Each person needs,
Some love and affection,
Some one to help,
Without having to mention.

It isn't that easy,
To just ask for help,
Some freeze up - go silent,
Cannot mutter nor yelp.

Not ever a sound,
Escapes from locked jaws,
Don't force them to speak,
Or they'll dissapear behind doors.

They just need to know,
That you're there to listen,
And help them to make,
A new smile that glistens. :)
