"HER LITTLE HANDS"
  by DEBOMILLIONZ

I wont miss a beat or a step that’s the way she had me
As She smiled at me and says hold my hand daddy
Her little hand I’ll hold it not wanting to let go
She jumped up and down she says she loves me
Happy to be out with me
But more excited cause we’re going to get her some candy
Her wide brown eyes and gap in her smile
God had blessed me with this child
Her name Angela look as beautiful as her mother
So I had no choice but to love her
She seen the store and started pulling me
And her tiny little hand slipped free
She took off running I yelled Angela wait
But I was to late
There was a loud bang!!!
At that moment I felt my heart the world stop
As I seen her frail little body drop
And hit the ground
It was quite except for the loud ringing sound
I ran over to her scooped her up in my arms
Looking at her dirty cothes and face then I heard alarms
Sirens something
But right there I didn’t care about nothing
As held her close to my chest crying my out soul
Feeling like a millions piece I wasn’t whole
I closed my eyes wanting my baby back
With out her my life wouldn’t be in tack
Her little body motionless
What did I do to deserve this
The paramedics took her from me while the cops held me
On the stretcher they placed her little frail body
Telling me to relax I can still see her
I promised to never let anyone hurt her
I can’t relax I feel so hopeless
In the midst of this
They’re questioning me
But I can see the blood from her body
They called my name but im not me
Its just a empty shell im not me
Then they rolled the stretcher pass me
And I heard a whimper follow a cry “DADDY”
She was alive I was I don’t know
The feeling I don’t know
Nothing I can call it at all
I ran to her tripped but didn’t fall
I’m here I said
Eyes teary and red
She looked at me and said
daddy are you crying
I said yes no need for lying
holding her little hand in mine
Cause everything was fine
She says don’t be sad
Ok dad
I said sure
Feeling she was secure
But I noticed she didn’t say anything more
I cried
To the sound of a long steady beep
My little girl had died.
