I am home at war
This may be unworthy to some
And other to say may think I am dumb
But I am home at war
I've trained to defend this country at all cost
And not feel for me no matter what's lost
I could lose it all a leg or an arm
But as long as im home it doesn't matter the harm
I am home at war
But I still long for America my real home
For my friends and family and all that I own
A place where I don't wake up with a gun all alone
A place where danger doesn't lurk under every stone
Home
Not at war with man
Not the nightmares of a dead friend
Maybe that's why I never left, to settle the score
For now I hae no choice, I am home at war
