I love my heart
I've loved it from its start!

At times when I am in pain
And into my life it continues to rain
On and on my heart will beat
Refusing to concede defeat

It keeps me alive
Through my troubles and strife
It has never let me down
Even when I've smoked and behaved like a clown
Its there for the long run
Whether I be weak or strong

My heart has only one demand of me
That I continue to breath and see
That I am a marvelous creation
Worthy of love and not rejection.
