"i remember"
  by divinesoulrebel

I remember a time when people believed in love. when you could look into a mans eyes and tell that he truly cared. when you could hear it in the way he spoke your name. the way he held you close. squeezed your hand. walked beside you and supported ur dreams.when love meant something.

i remember when it made you feel good, ur whole world was complete. it put a pep in ur step, a song in ur heart, soe pride in ur stride and it swayed ur walk.

i remember love. it used to linger in the air. it stung the bees that flowered the trees that held the birds who sung to the breeze.

i remember love onn a cold winters noght. soft musi and candlelight. shag carpets and throw pillows. red wine and fruit. conversation titilating and pleasant. warm eyes that welcomed my stare. firm hands that rubbed away my cares, soft lips that kissed my everywhere.beauty beyond belief. a mind that stimulated my senses. a soul that complemented mine, a heartneat that intertwined with mine.

i remember do you?

remember when love wasn't mistaken for good sex? remember when love about the way they made you feel. how their eyes lit up in the moonlight, how their smile warmed ur heart. how their laughter sent chills thru your being.

i remember love, it used to make his voice linger in my dreams. how his scent was forever embeded in my memory. when he lived in my head so i never felt alone. when his touch calmed my soul and soothed my spirit.

remeber that time we layed in the grass counting stars? i could listen to you go on about astrology for hours. or that time you told to lay my head on your pillow and just relax. it always made me smile cuz that was our song.maybe you remember that day we kissed in the rain. hhmm.... you looked good wet. or perhaps all those times we rubbed each other down.

how about those long weekends with wiht breakfast in bed and haha......afternoon head. those cozy nights we chilled by the fire, relaxed and free, happy to be. maybe you remember the candlelit bubble baths, the romantic dinners. the champagne kisses? the way you used to whisper in my ear.

do you remember the way we made warm, hot, sweaty, non stop, mind blowing.......delicious all nite?

haha..those were the times. i remember cuz i miss it. do you?
