a poem that shows wat it means to be hurt.

where a low income, single mother is valued as great.
a poem that accepts a mixture and variety,
a poem where low class mixes with high society.
i wanna write that poem that makes it ok,
for children in the projects to go out and play.
a poem where its accepted to see a white with a black,
without having to hear the day to day attacks.
a poem where a mixed child is accepted for wat she knows,
not white, black, asian or latino, not a red or yellow bone.
a poem where families join as one,
to bask in the glory of all they've become.
a poem where true friends would never turn their back,
and by the word true, you are stating a fact.
a poem that would stop all the raping and abusing,
a poem that would show that none of this is amusing.
a poem that shows a condom can really save a life,
and instead of taking meds, you could be out living it right.
i wanna write a poem that shows that alcohol isnt a cure,
even at the hardest of times when your life seems so unsure.
