Ms. Sincerious:
I want to write a love poem
And lace it with lovely thoughts..
How Ive been chasing cupid
And how now, hes finally been caught.
I want to tell tales of starry nights
And passionate love -making.
I want to write a love poem
that is beautifully- breathtaking.
I want my pen to kiss the paper
The same way loves lips kiss mine
In an effort to recreate that feeling
in every single line.
I want my words to dance
in blissful metaphors,
to the melody of all the reasons
that he met-her-for.
I wish to scribe a scripture
that captures the divinity of love.
One that resonates the same essence
that hopeless romantics speak of.
I want to write a love poem
Instead of soliloquys of heartache
I want to write of mended heart
Instead of writing of heart break,
I want to write a love poem
That is the sweetest dedication
I want to write a love poem
But ..
I have no inspiration.
Arcane:
I want to say farewell to my broken heart,
To my momentary sorrows,
And the rain that cries tears behind this broken heart,
While I laugh and share memories,
And ignite sparks..
I want to skip a breath as he gazes into my veiled eyes,
And he holds me close in between his arms,
So I can feel his heart beat,
As if I was the only one that exists in between his gentle walls,
I want to feel the way he sways my stubborn heart,
Engulfing me silently,
Filling me with passion,
As I become fragile and weak,
While my mind denies that he could be true,
But knowing he's pure,
Can crack the poison out of my heart,
I want to feel that love is worth waiting,
As he aligns every beat that I skipped in my heart,
While my heart throbs in his palms,
With the sweetest sound of his voice,
Knowing that his words are real,
And I finally found the man of my dreams,
I want to write a love poem for the man that got the best of me,
For the one that I am yet to meet
