"Innocence."
  by Nikkii*3

Try to remember,
What it was like to be young,
No expectations
And no song gone unsung.

All your time spent,
Doing nothing at all,
Now you've grown up,
And not just got tall.

It's much more than height,
Or age or year level,
Growing up is real hard,
You have to argue with the devil.

So don't forget what you learn,
While you are still young,
Hold onto the innocence,
And make sure the good songs are sung.

This is encouragement for all ages. As we get older we have a battle to fight. Thanks for sharing this Nikkii.

Innocence is long gone for me. I guess you can call me a child of decadence. great write.
