Hiding in my skin
A nightmare that seems to never end
I pretend everything is alright
But when the lights aint bright
And day turns to night
I sleep with fright and my dreams aint right

All i wanted to do was protect my mom
Not knowing i'd be the next one
Screaming for my moms protection
Trying to escape from his errection
Tears streamming down my face
Blood all ova the place
In my ear hearing the tone
Somebody please pick up the phone
Throwing the reciever at his head
I wish i had of stayed in bed
One step forward
Two steps back
On the ground wrestling for the knife
Theres the knock that saved my life
Tears still run down from my eyes
Terrible nightmares held inside
