It was you who tried to let the world know,
tried to show the people which way to go.
Some never had one thought to open their ears,
despite all mind body and heart fears.
I never thought about how much people don't listen,
because they beleive sometimes they shouldn't pay attention.
But it was you who at all times beleived in yourself,
and didn't try really hard just to impress someone else.
You had a Golden mind,body and soul,
even when the hearts of your people were cold!
All you did was beleive things would change,
and to help it change you would go any range.
No matter what anyone else said to you,
whatever you set your mind to, you'd DO!
Used all the talents the Lord gave to you,
realized that with them you knew what to do.
And everybody around you clowned you and downed you and in the end you lost hope on what to do.
Hated the cruel things that people said,
that repeated time after time in your head!
Some had the nerve to look at you as a "no good brother",
but deep down inside you were a people lover!
It was you who set out with dreams to fulfill,
and people tried to stop you with their every will!
They just didn't want you to acheive anything in life,
they weren't doing it so they wanted you not to do right.
It was you who loved even your enemies,
and did with no intentions to please, cost or fees.
Thats why you are a true soldier,leader and role model in my life,
So for this world and what you stood for,
I'm prepared to fight!
