It’s Only for a Season


Don't let life's problems get you down,
There is still hope for tomorrow; you don’t have to frown,
Everything will be okay, if you hold on,
Holding on I know, sometimes it's harder than hard to do,
But, what does it take to pull you through?
Faith, is what it will take, just a little to even think that this storm will pass,
It really doesn’t take much. Just remember, trouble will not always last.

To everything there is a season under the sun,
So a season of happiness, is another, this is not the only one.

Just believe that your midnight will surely come to an end.
The sun will one day shine again,
Maybe not as soon as you would like, but just know,
With this difficult life experience, you will grow,
Everything we go through is for a reason,

Everything we endure, remember, brings us closer to a season.
When the rain will stop falling,
And Joy and Happiness at last your name they will be calling,
When at last this storm has passed,
You will look proudly at the test that you overcame and passed!
Then, you will think back to words of old. Everything happens for a reason,
And then you'll realize that it was only for a season.
