I wonder alone
traveling a path all my own
facing the unknown
I enter my zone
not far from the hood
but in my mind...
I'm a million miles away
I jouney to a place
were I'm the ruler of all that I see
to a land of great peace
were the worries of my urban struggles don't stress me
were Cerebral Palsy is a I face no longer
were all the ones I love who have passed on come to remenice
Ant-Man, Moe, & Dre
we sit back and laugh a bit
here we all have smiles upon our faces
no desputes, deaths, or animosity felt
no longer in pressuit of happiness
because I've found it in this place
I've found it in the whisper of the breeze
in the rattle of the trees' leaves
in the crashing of the water against the rocks as it travels down the creek
in the birds when they sing
I found it when ever I close my eyes
and I listen to my heart beat
when I escape from the everyday just to get away
to escape from the norm
to get away from this toxic place
