I'm sittin here,
with this lake at my side.
An open expanse,
my feelings I don't have to hide.
I can say anything,
this lake does not judge.
The waters are calm,
not a speck of sludge.
This lake holds power,
people just don't know.
The calm waters could ravage,
and banks could overflow.
But it stays placid,
for there is no aggravation.
And for me that instills,
a tranquil sensation.
