"Lavender Mist Verse II {Declarations}"
  by J@yBoogz {The Ghetto Zombie}

~+~

In lulling dulcet hues
between fragile onionskin pages
we reside you and i
sepia ink turned iridescent
with every whisper
of never ending softness

~+~

The way your hand rests
like moonlight on snowdrops
against the small of my back
promises written without weight
only visible in the sighs
of supple winter nights

~+~

Our fingers thread together
in a symphony only angels hear
and my tears carry a thankfulness
only willows could understand
for my heart overflows
with the beauty you resonate

~+~

Tuck me close against your heart
breathing in every reason
to melt into your tomorrow
like expiring icicles
crying into a river of release
exhaling the color of my eyes
and all that's left is hope

~+~

So speak gentle in muted tones
that wash us in a dream of ever after
like dewdrops gathering on violet petals
and we will remain you and i
in a wish of twilight hours
pressed seamless between forever and always

Writes that contain a certain 'soothing' feel are in this day and age, few and far between. I believe this piece does indeed exude that subtle tinge of serenity, threading through each word, each phrase. Sometimes, words don't have to be visually descriptive in order to conjure imagery, this is definitely an example of that. It contains perhaps more, emotion-based portrayals.. so beautiful and vividly expressive and this just turns into thoughts and pictures of pleasant scenes while reading. Lov...

it has taken me awhile to even comment...the beauty your words create is excrutiatingly bittersweet. This speaks of overwhelming love for not only the subject but also for words- the imagery is just intoxicatingly emo *soft sigh* i'm listening to this song...i remember the first one which was such a masterpiece also but this piece, though it is the sequel, it has taken on a life of its own, soaring! "only willows could understand"...*sighs* the background is just...too beautiful for adjectives- ...
