I am trapped in a cave of emotions;
my worries and fears stir commotion.

Who am I? What is my identity?
Why did my dear love abandon me?

Betrayal by my “so-called” best friend;
will this cave of emotions ever end?

I try to find a way out but emotions grow deeper;
there is no way around but as I move the cave is steeper.

Though the cave is overwhelming there is no need for me to pout;
in the distance pain awaits but I see a light which means a way out.
