"Little ray of sunshine on the black soul"
  by Aleks

Happiness? Is a strange and
Wonderful thing
That I woefully have
Never felt
I heard that
It’s like a chime
Hot enough to even
Make the sun melt
I, the blatant
Black soul
Ever so much
Happiness I do want
I try, GOD, I TRY
But he doesn’t even help
Agnostic, suicidal and lesbian
Happiness doesn’t like my rays
I’ve learnt that It goes to
Those who are Christian, lively and straight
The girl I love
Rejects me, just like my father
How the fuck can I be happy?
Happiness, doesn’t like me
I’ve tried
But rejection is too much to bare.........
