"Lonely 20's Blues"
  by Miz Thicka Den Thick

Im tired of playing the games
because they all seem the same
Gramma say Girl dont worry bout no man
cause he can only defer you from ya plans

Cant help how I feel after I come home from work
needing my feet to be rubbed because they hurt
Sure they all say "girl you still got time"
you havent even reached your prime
but what happens when a girl gets tired of hearing the same ol rhymes?

In my short time have played the field...
ran all up and down it..
but still I have yet to make the touchdown
silently turning my smile into a frown

A wise lady sang "what do the lonely do at christmas"
but its only in july...(loud sigh)
Maybe one day love will find me..
cause I dont wanna sing the lonely 30 blues...
