The ones who take love for granted get noticed
The ones who lie, cheat and steal get noticed
The ones who have no direction in life, no goals, no morals, get noticed
The ones who mistreat and disrespected women but still are able to walk in the lives of people who will stand by them, get noticed
Why? It is so degrading it makes me lose focus
Standing alone, a well mannered, well educated guy, who treats other equally and fairly, and yet no attention
A misfit can stand alone and gain attention
But I stand alone, No one pauses for intermission
Nearly twenty years of soul searching
The devil still has not began lurching
The ones who want to get noticed, don't get noticed
The ones who live peacefully, don't get noticed
The ones who yet to experience the ups and downs of love and relationships
Who pray on the chance for romance
Are constantly skipped over without glance
The ones who stand alone, will die alone
and as their bodies begin decomposition
Society will continue on without them
