"LOOKING BACK ON OLD RULES OF ENGAGEMENT"
  by MAVRICK

What ever happened to basic courtesy
standard respects, that automatically should occur
from one being to another, is it all gone, is it actually a blurr

Cause back in the days, you got your ass whooped
being disrespectful, insults your family’s name
Ohh thats them bad ass Jackson boys
you know they’re raised like animals, is their fame
Ohh, the girls in the Wyndingrump family are a bunch of sluts
their momma, just bugged out, the chick flew the coup

Now it gets worse if you disrespect your elders
Mannn! Stick a fork in yah, cause your ass is thru
You got whipped by your neighbor’s
then caught it from your uncle’s and aunt’s
by the time your mom and dad got to you
a punishment was all you would want

Even the street gangs and drug dealers had respect
they didn’t fight or make deals in a childs view
they took your ass in a dark alley or after hours in the school yard
next day all we saw, was your black and blues

Back then the community was all in your business
everyone had a function and principal to do
But now, things are a whole lot different
no one gets up, to give their seat to the pregnant or old
everyone’s so caught up in their own selfish dilemma’s
not caring anymore, they get insulted if reminded or told

The system adds more fuel to this crisis
telling the children to report their parents if spanked
but I stand firm to my old school disciplinary lessons
so, call anyone you want, all of the systems alphabet agency pranksters
CPS, BCC, NBC, ABC, CIA, FBI, NSA
I’ll whoop their ass too, I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU THINK!!!!

You are so right with this write lol. But seriously it does take a village to raise a family. I may have to respond to this one.
