"Losing Her Way"
  by XGMGrand

Growing up in suburban America
She never really felt like people cared for her
Yeah she must be rich she’s well off to do
So they just push her out the house and send her to school
They figure everything will cool, yeah she’s al right
And no one raises an eye brow when she’s out all night
Nothing could happen we live in a good neighborhood
And all the nosy neighbors on watch will catch the kids from the neighboring hoods
Her parents go to sleep thinking what’s worst she could do until they wake up and turn on the news
They see their baby girls picture and name flash on the screen
Eyes quickly get flooded and turn into ravines
Last night she got kidnapped she got rapped murphy’s law prevailed she got slayed
She ain’t coming home today she can’t come out to play
Her body so disfigured the family can’t make out her face
Never had the chance build her name with a legacy
Depression induced eating disorder was masked by the pregnancy
Journal pages repeated “mother keeps neglecting me”
Blog post repeated “ the devils built a nest in me”
Planted seeds that bloomed into full grown trees watered and nurtured by her unheard pleas
She would get on her knees and cry to sky, but whenever a tear fell they would call it a lie
They walked by ignoring her need for family
The emptiness from her wish bone structured family tree
Made it hard to breathe, it was easy grieve, no signs of hope was the only thing she believed
But yeah she’s so rich so she’s ok
And she don’t need family or friends to play with
Who cares if she feels outcast and dropped outta of space ship
We’ll keep giving her money until we see her face lift
We live in the suburbs and she’s well off to do
So let’s just push her out the house, send her to school
Everything will be cool, yeah she’s al right
Who cares if she cries clutching on her pillow real tight
Or if her days carry over the darkness from night
We’ll keep ignoring the blatant signs we’re losing her life
Now it’s too late we’ll use photos as mnemonics for her face since we can’t make it out on her funeral day
