"Love Is You (Chrisette Michele)"
  by Dante'

Darrin Lane AKA Dante’ Blak Frost

Love is somethin’ I never felt,

A card that I never played hard for myself, rather more

I stayed away, obviously

Because I was afraid she would let me bleed

She would leave- because she expects perfection

As hard as I tried, I always need correction

I was born in this world, that God made &

I’m not the best, won’t even fake it

But

You taught me somethin’ so much more

That in fact, love by itself is secure

It can withstand time & a lack of morals

When ya feel it, sounds like a heavenly choral

Somethin’ special- more than returnin’ from war

More than kids being born, more than life’s open door

It’s intertwining my heart with your soul

Visa versa, I’m not afraid to love you anymore
