When shes awake-shes a vision of beauty
and when shes asleep-shes timeless...beauty prefected
With us being worlds apart
it seems that when shes awake she only loves me,
but when shes asleep shes in love with me
The distance between us has made her distance herself from me,
but only physcially...
So I reach out to her through electronic words
and hand written letters...so that she would feel me
Yet, and still, I want her to love me
physically...
But Ill settle for her love the way it is
at least this way Ill always have a part of her with me
even though I want to be with her when she dreams
because thats when she loves me most
Ill settle for just having a space in her mind that I occupy
so I can travel through her thoughts as if I were on a journey
because I want to know all there is to know about her
I want to touch her soul
See, she is the best of me
that part of me I wont dare expose to others...
the part of me that she only sees
because it is she that makes be a better man
better than I ever thought I could be
