A very nice poem. You obviously draw alot from your faith to instruct you with your writing. I myself am not so religous, a little more existential. If there is a non religous divinity then I search for that.

The title of this poem 'War At Ease' is a paradox of the oxymoron kind. I like the line 'Life wends its way mechanically'. It feels like we are living inside a machine trying to avoid the unforgiving cogs that grind together and war is the industrial accident waiting to happen. WE'RE DOOMED!

How true the message is in this poem? Goverments are evil and the more powerful the government the eviler it gets. Brave young men and women who risk life and limb for their country deserve better.

I found this poem very inspirational. Your delivery was excellent. It was well paced and passionatly expressed, dealing with the adversities of life, made this poem a positive experience to listen to.

I like this poem, the way that you have expressed your self with this haunting experience.

The mechanism whirrs that bears a sword cuts deep the flesh with every word and wars will come more and more whilst folks will deny what is in store yet spirits tale is of the whole there is escape for every soul in love that's lost at such a cost it says it stays in many ways and truth will out need have no doubt else it not true what hearts eschew...

would you or perhaps someone you know be interested in participating in a rap battle forum? Im starting a new group called "Sikk Lyricistz" where we will go head to head with the best as the best helping all our fellow emcees sharpen their skills and develope their talents. The only rules are to come hard, respect your peers and dont catch any feelings about the bars scribed. It may be brutal, it may be funny or have smooth flow, but it will always be entertaining- hope to see you there! ...
