This poem reminds me of one I've had locked up in my journal for a few months now... I might finish it up and post it as a response to this one... depends on my mood... But, yeah... This poem was short, but it packed quite a punch. Sometimes compromising ourselves to keep someone else reduces us to a level we eventually will have to pick ourselves up from - the easy way, or the hard way. Boy... when experience speaks... it speaks LOUDLY.
