About Me

  -------------------------------------

About Me:
A poet and writer; Co-Founder/President of IndieGo Productions, CEO of The Art of Spoken Word & Asst. Dir. of Creativity Is Me. Have been writing going on 12 + years now. Attended business and art (culinary) school. Love music, arts of all genres and forms, and family. I am looking to publish two boooks in the upcming year, as well started a new business venture - i.e. the aforementioned "IndieGo Productions" - and have looked to incorporate spoken word & poetry, jazz and blues, too neo/nu-soul in addition to visual arts. So... just love being me, having a good time and networking and socializing with seemingly interesting and like minded persons.

Pardon the typos by the way. I hate when I do that. As an English major, it's not my thing to be so careless and lackadaisical with my wording.

Reminds me of the piece somewhat in the movie "Antwone Fisher" - "Who Will Cry For the Little Boy,” recited by Derek Luke (though written by Antwone Fisher himself; selected piece from his memoir "Finding Fish"). Interesting and moving piece fam. Personally, I too wrote a piece similar titled "Cry No More" in '04 while attending school down in Atlanta. "Cry No More" is/was about just, well... As a man, we have to move on and endure the pain that life deals us, and chalk it up. Cry symbolizes "feeling pain" so in a sense, the piece reads "Feelin' Pain No More." Great read as well write 'Soldier. Best, K. Gorham ~The Renaissance Poet
